Teal Wood & Bone Necklace

This exotic style necklace was made in 2011. The black and white rectangular beads are made from bone and were gathered from a small bead shop on the coast of southwest Africa. They are arranged in a unique pattern, separated by small painted wooden beads. In the center, a teal carved wooden bead is showcased. It is layered with a dark bone bead also from Africa with more colored wooden beads acting as tassles. The cord is in brown leather and the clasp is in sterling silver.
