Lapis Lazuli Necklace

This unique creation was composed in 2011. The center portion contains three lapis lazuli disks gathered from Swakopmund, on the Namibian coast of Africa, that are wired to three brass spirals. The dangling bead in the center is pyrite with Swarovski crystal elements and freshwater pearls that are also found on the string draped around the middle spiral. There are small seed beads in lapis lazuli alternating with the crystals and pearls.
